Key Responsibilities:

• Design, administer, maintain, and support the availability, performance, and security of the systems that include PBX platforms, IP phones, and telephony servers evidencing strong knowledge of security, switching and routing technologies
• Proactively monitor system up-time, performance and utilization
• Installation and Configuration of Apache, PHP, MySQL, and Asterisk
• Ensure high availability of Telecom Infrastructure that supports internal and external customer SLA
• Coordinating with development and operations staff, clients, and vendors for hardware/software upgrades, troubleshoot, and roll-outs
• Recommend updates to IT Infrastructure to deliver cost benefits without reducing production performance and availability
• Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance of Database systems like MS SQL,MongoDB, PostgreSQL would be added advantage
• Should be available as per roster to ensure full availability of the IT Infrastructure team

Must-haves:

• Familiar and working knowledge on telecom terms like SIP, Asterisk, VICIdial, FreePBX, FreeSWITCH
• Use of tools such as tcpdump, ngrep to troubleshoot
• Troubleshoot issues using Wireshark and other tools
• Shell/batch/dial plan scripting
• Database installation, configuration, and security

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge and ability to work on cloud infrastructure like AWS, Google

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 3 + years of experience as Telecom Engineer or in relevant profile
• UG – Bsc IT, Computers, B.E – Computers, EC, IT, or Post-Graduation (Not Required) ME – Computer/Telecommunication, EC, IT
